1. Preamble and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally cognisable and binding framework governing access to, registration for, participation in, and use of the official website, digital platforms, registration systems, onsite venues, and associated services of WCND 2026.

By accessing, browsing, registering, submitting content, attending (physically or virtually), or otherwise participating in WCND 2026, the participant acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions along with the WCND 2026 Privacy Policy.

2. Nature, Scope, and Structure of WCND 2026

WCND 2026 is a non-commercial, non-political, academic and civil-society–oriented world congress conducted in accordance with

  • Internationally recognised principles of academic freedom
  • Peaceful assembly and ethical dialogue
  • United Nations–aligned democratic and human rights norms

Congress Structure:

  • Phase I – Global Online Sessions: 14–16 November 2026
  • Phase II – In-Person Sessions: 17–20 November 2026
  • Venues: Rajgir and Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India

The Organiser reserves the right to modify the structure, format, or duration due to operational, regulatory, or force majeure circumstances.

3. Registration, Fees, and Participation
  • Registration must be completed through the official WCND 2026 system
  • Registration is subject to eligibility verification and availability
  • Submission of abstracts or papers does not imply acceptance
  • Registration fees are administrative and non-refundable unless stated otherwise
  • Registration does not guarantee selection, presentation, recognition, or awards

The Organiser reserves the right to deny or revoke participation in cases of misrepresentation, policy violation, or ethical breach.

4. Use of Website and Digital Platforms

The WCND 2026 website and digital platforms are intended exclusively for lawful Congress-related purposes, including:

  • Dissemination of official information
  • Registration and academic submissions
  • Publication of authorised materials

Users shall not engage in:

  • Unauthorised access or cyber interference
  • Uploading unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content
  • Any activity violating Indian or international law
5. Academic Integrity and Content Responsibility

All submissions must adhere to international academic and ethical standards, including

  • Originality and proper attribution
  • Absence of plagiarism, falsification, or misrepresentation
  • Disclosure of AI-assisted content and conflicts of interest, where applicable

Participants bear sole responsibility for the accuracy, legality, and ethical integrity of their submissions.

6. Intellectual Property and Recording Policy
  • Authors retain ownership of their intellectual property
  • WCND is granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for academic publication
  • Recording of sessions is prohibited without written permission
  • WCND retains exclusive rights to its logos, trademarks, and official content
7. Code of Conduct, Ethics, and Legal Compliance

All participants shall conduct themselves professionally and respectfully, in compliance with:

  • The Constitution of India
  • Applicable Central and State Government advisories
  • Government of Bihar and local authority regulations
  • United Nations Charter and UDHR principles

Strictly Prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, hate speech
  • Disruption of academic dialogue
  • Any conduct undermining dignity or public order
8. Child Protection and Minor Participation Policy

Definition

A “Child / Minor” is any person under the age of 18.

General Policy

  • Children are not permitted in academic sessions unless officially authorised
  • Any child present must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult (21+)
  • Parents/legal guardians bear full responsibility for the child’s safety and conduct

Junior Academia / School Division (Ages 9–17)

  • Participation permitted only through registered schools or recognised institutions
  • Individual or guardian registrations are not accepted
  • Schools are fully responsible for:

Parental/legal consent

Supervision and safeguarding

Compliance with WCND child protection standards

WCND reserves the right to modify or discontinue such programmes in the interest of child safety and dignity.

9. Environmental Responsibility Policy

WCND 2026 affirms its commitment to sustainability and ecological ethics.

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Minimise waste and single-use plastics
  • Follow paperless and digital-first practices
  • Respect local environmental regulations
  • Use recycling and waste segregation facilities
  • Reduce carbon footprint related to travel and accommodation

Environmental awareness and biodiversity stewardship form an integral part of Congress programming.

10. Health, Safety, and Insurance
  • Participants attend at their own risk
  • Participants are responsible for travel insurance, health coverage, and visas
  • All health and safety protocols issued by authorities or the Organiser must be followed
  • WCND 2026 assumes no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage except where mandated by law
11. Programme Modifications and Force Majeure

The Organiser may amend schedules, venues, formats, or content due to force majeure events, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, or governmental restrictions, without liability.

12. WCND Noble Question Award

Participation in the WCND Noble Question Award is open to registered participants. Submission of a question does not guarantee selection or recognition. All questions must be original, ethical, and aligned with the principles of World Natural Democracy. By submitting a question, participants retain intellectual ownership while granting WCND the right to publish and disseminate selected questions for academic and educational purposes. All selections and decisions of WCND authorities are final and non-contestable.

13. International Awards, Honours, and Academic Recognition

All WCND recognitions are:

  • Non-commercial, non-political, non-competitive
  • Symbolic, academic, and ethical in nature
  • Not linked to fees, nationality, or financial contribution

Selection is merit-based, ethics-oriented, and final. WCND reserves the right to withhold or revoke recognition in cases of misconduct or ethical violations.

14. Well-Wishes Messages

WCND shall have full discretion to decide which well-wishes messages are published on the website or included in the physical souvenir. All messages must be original, respectful, and lawful. WCND may edit messages for clarity or space. Submission does not guarantee physical publication; some messages may be published only digitally. The sender retains ownership, while granting WCND a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish and display the message.

15. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data shall be collected and processed strictly in accordance with:

  • WCND 2026 Privacy Policy
  • Applicable Indian data protection laws
  • International best practices

Data is used solely for legitimate Congress purposes.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, WCND 2026, its organisers, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Technical failures
  • Travel or third-party service issues
  • Personal loss or damage during participation
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Courts at Darbhanga, Bihar, shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.

18. Amendments and Official Communication

WCND 2026 reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates shall be effective upon publication on the official website.

Official communication languages: English and Hindi. In case of inconsistency, the English version shall prevail.

19. Engagement under Agreement

Under a duly executed agreement, World Natural Democracy (WND) has entrusted ICS Global with event management and organisational secretariat responsibilities for WCND 2026, including accommodation, travel, tour coordination, catering, logistics, technical support, website hosting, maintenance, and periodic content updates.

ICS Global shall act within the scope of the agreement and under the authority of WND. Services may involve third-party providers and remain subject to operational, technical, or situational constraints. To the extent permitted by law, where reasonable care and good-faith efforts are exercised in accordance with the agreement, WND shall not be liable for delays, modifications, service interruptions, or limitations arising from third-party service delivery or technical dependencies.

20. Best Efforts, Service Limitations & Participant Cooperation

World Natural Democracy (WND) commits to making all reasonable and best possible efforts to ensure that the World Congress of Natural Democracy 2026 is conducted with the highest standards of dignity, academic integrity, and operational excellence, reflecting its aspiration to serve as a historically significant global convening for humanity.

WND shall endeavour to provide announced or reasonably anticipated facilities and services, including but not limited to hospitality arrangements, language interpretation, and participant support services.

Notwithstanding the above, it is recognised that no individual, organisation, or circumstance can be entirely free from limitations or unforeseen challenges. Despite sincere intent and best efforts, certain services or facilities may be partially, temporarily, or fully unavailable due to factors beyond reasonable control.

In such circumstances, WND expresses its regret and respectfully seeks the understanding, cooperation, and goodwill of all participants, without prejudice to its continuing commitment to transparency and improvement.
